The Discover team has been thrilled to be out promoting the benefits of Discover at a number of community and researcher-focused events this summer.

  • We were also thrilled to participate at the Imperial Festival of Science, helping to facilitate lively discussions about the public benefits of research.
  • In July we attended the Dalgarno Trust’s annual community event at North Kensington to promote Discover. The event was filled with information about living well and healthily, and we received lots of interest in Discover from local residents.
  • And we were also part of the Hayes Community Fun Day. With support from Hayes Partnership chairman David Brough we were able to promote the benefits of Discover to residents, and this was also supported by a great article about the register in the Hayes Town News.

The Discover team is now raising awareness about the benefits of the consent to contact for carrying out research studies at the monthly Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC) clinical seminars.

The first one took place on Tuesday 23rd July at the Royal Brompton Hospital where many clinicians, academic researchers and medical students had the opportunity to ask questions to the Discover team.
