More About NWL Health Research Register

The NWL Health Research Register is a way to bridge the gap between the public and researchers. The register is for both healthy people and those with a medical condition.

If you live in North West London, then NWL Health Research Register is your opportunity to contribute to health research. Often people who want to contribute to this kind of research don’t know where to start or who to ask. Researchers have a similar problem – they want to improve healthcare, but sometimes can’t find people to participate in studies.

There are many benefits to joining Discover.

More people involved in research - The more people that will potentially participate in research creating a healthier future for all.

Empowering people - You will be empowered to become more active in health research. Previously only a healthcare professional, for example a doctor or nurse, could invite you to take part in research. Now you can register your interest directly.

Better healthcare for patients - With more people involved in research, and more research being conducted locally, advances in healthcare and medicine will follow meaning better healthcare and improved outcomes for local people.
